Air Pacific appoints government relations chief

| Air Pacific: Sevura to manage government links |
Air Pacific has appointed Jona Sevura as manager for government and industry affairs.
He was previously the manager of regulatory affairs for Air Pacific - and prior to that was employed by the Government of Fiji.
Sevura holds qualifications in aviation law and economic regulation of air transport, holding a Post-Graduate Diploma in Aviation & Space Law from McGill University in Canada.
He will take the lead on Air Pacific's input to aviation regulatory authorities in Fiji and for communication with government on regulatory and policy issues.
Managing director & CEO of Air Pacific, John Campbell, said: “We are delighted to appoint Jona to his new role to ensure that Air Pacific is well positioned to provide sound input, opinion and information to government on regulatory and policy matters."
Air Pacific operates from Fiji and is owned by the government of the Pacific island.
