Weber Shandwick bolsters PA team

Weber Shandwick has announced the appointment of Josh Wright as advisor on the Australian Public Affairs team.

Wright joins the team from Transport for NSW where he was the business manager in the office of the Deputy Director General.

Wright comes to Weber Shandwick having spent six years with the Transport system in NSW, moving from departmental position to ministerial advisor roles for both sides of politics. In his last position, he served as advisor to the Transport deputy director general responsible for infrastructure programmes.

Wright began his career in the military and has since built a strong background in defence. During his time serving with the Australian military, he developed an expertise in security and emergency management, in addition to public affairs and communications. Following his service, he held a succession of senior roles in Commonwealth government departments in Canberra.
