Ruder Finn has announced an expansion of its Asia-Pacific portfolio with the acquisition of SharpeLankester, in what has been described as a culturally complementary move that will allow both parties to expand and develop.
The move comes three weeks after Ruder Finn won the role of Media Communication Agency for aviation firm Textron Aviation, manufacturer of the iconic Beechcraft, Cessna and Hawker brands.
Joint Founder Charles Lankester has been appointed to Ruder Finn’s leadership team in the new role of Senior Vice President, Reputation Management, Asia-Pacific, responsible for Ruder Finn’s Hong Kong client service, management and business operations.
Lankester is joined by Cynthia Wan as Director, Ruder Finn Hong Kong. Wan was most recently Press and Information Officer at the European Union Office for Hong Kong and Macao.
Andrew Sharpe, joint founder of SharpeLankester, will pursue his political interests in the United Kingdom and continue to service his client portfolio specialising in financial markets advisory work.
SharpeLankester won the 2014 Holmes Report’s Asia-Pacific New Consultancy of the Year.
