RFI Asia, the digital arm of Ruder Finn Asia, has announced the promotions of Maximilian Wang, Vincent Mak, and Joshua Wang as it builds out its operations.
RFI Asia was formed when Ruder Finn Asia acquired Daylight Partnership, a fast-growing digital marketing and analytics consultancy, in December 2016.
Maximilian Wang becomes Group Director and brings over 10 years’ global experience articulating innovative creative strategies and building multi-dimensional programmes.
He will lead RFI Asia’s highly specialised teams in digital strategy, creative, production and client services, delivering “breakthrough work”. He first joined Daylight in 2015 with previous experience in advertising and branding, most notably as senior regional marketer at Richemont, senior producer at independent agency Anonymous, and creative head at DBM Group.
Meanwhile Vincent Mak becomes Head of Client Service at RFI Asia. He has more than 15 years’ experience leading corporate marketing communications for multimillion-dollar companies across diverse industries, including Nielsen, Fox International Channels and iProperty Group. During his time at Nielsen, one of his key responsibilities was digital channel engagement for the brand, including producing HK-oriented content and facilitating user experience by leveraging Nielsen’s insights for the company’s web properties in China and Hong Kong and LinkedIn channel for better consumer engagement.
Joshua Wang becomes Head of Insights and Analytic, bringing over five years’ experience in public health and clinical research to RFI Asia. Joshua plays a key role in equipping content strategists and creatives with data-driven digital strategies, delivering marketing campaigns in Asia and abroad for major RFI Asia clients including MTR Corp, Maxim’s Group, L’Oréal, Fitbit, Amgen and Subway Restaurants. Joshua currently spearheads the development of RFI BEACON, a global full-service Insights & Analytics suite from Ruder Finn Inc.
David Ko, Head of RFI Asia, said: “We live in a commercial world where passionate, innovative creatives are the lifeblood of a cutting edge agency like RFI Asia. I’m thrilled and humbled to see the growth and maturity of incredibly talented individuals like Max, Josh and Vincent. At this halfway point of 2017, when we celebrate our successes of the past four years, we recognize that all our new client wins and awards would not have been possible without them.”
