RF Thunder, sister company of Ruder Finn Asia, has opened its fourth office, the first in Beijing, with Tingting Wu as General Manager.
RF Thunder, formerly Thunder Communications, was established in Shanghai in 2001 and was acquired by Ruder Finn in 2011.
The company has grown at an average of 88% year-on-year since its acquisition by Ruder Finn and, in 2013, a second office was opened in Guangzhou.
In 2014, RF Thunder saw a 200 per cent business growth and 33 percent increase in staff numbers.
With the expansion of Ruder Finn Asia’s expertise to specialized offerings in luxury, healthcare, auto and financial communications in Greater China, RF Thunder will provide innovative, strategic communications within different market segmentations, including beauty, fashion, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and luxury property.
The new Beijing office will focus on luxury and lifestyle communications and crisis management, as well as working closely with Ruder Finn Innovation Studios (RFI), the award winning digital agency, to blend traditional PR, CRM and digital PR offerings.
Tingting Wu has served clients in diverse fields including manufacturing, luxury and high-end consumer goods, automobile, travel, and retail.
She has worked with clients including Mont Blanc, Hermès, Cartier, Bentley, Audi, Sephora, Michelin and L’Oréal. Tingting’s experience covers corporate image management, branding, media relations and crisis management.
Prior to joining RF Thunder, Tingting had been with Ruder Finn for over 10 years.
