Specialist communications talent resource company Prospect has announced the appointment of Angela Poh as Senior Consultant in their Singapore office.
Poh will lead the company’s activities in Singapore and cover South East Asia where she will place mid to senior level talent in MNCs and global communications and PR agencies.
For the last decade Poh worked at HBO Asia where she was Communications Manager, leading integrated campaigns for high profile titles such as Game of Thrones. In this role she worked with HBO’s global communications team and alongside a variety of PR agencies. Before her time at HBO Asia, Poh spent three years in marketing at Yahoo! Southeast Asia and a year in brand management.
She started her career in the executive search business and will report to Prospect’s Managing Director, Emma Dale. “I’m thrilled to join Prospect and extremely privileged to be working with some of the best people in the communications recruitment business. Being a communications professional myself, I now hope to use my intimate knowledge of the role to help others in the industry find their places in companies and shine,” said Poh.
Dale added: “I am excited that Angela is joining the Prospect team in Singapore. We are experiencing good growth in Singapore and SE Asia and I am sure with Angela’s combination of recruitment and Communications experience, the business will flourish even further.”
Poh, who holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Canberra in Australia, took up her new role on August 16.
