Leo Burnett appoints new Malaysia lead


Leo Burnett Malaysia has appointed Eswari Kalugasalam Lawson as public relations director for Arc Worldwide.

The appointment is effective as of 15 July. She replaces Magdalene Lee who held the role since January 2012.

As PR director, Lawson has been tasked with leading the public relations division of Leo Burnett.

Lawson has more than 20 years of experience in corporate communications and business development in profit and not-for-profit organisations.

Starting her career as a journalist, Lawson also held corporate communications roles while working at organisations such as Titan Chemicals, Asian Strategy and Leadership Institute, World Islamic Economic Forum Foundation and The ICLIF Leadership and Governance Centre.

As practice lead for corporate and finance, Lawson advised local and international C-suite business leaders on strategic corporate positioning.

Her experience includes media, investor, government and employee’s relations as well as event management in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, India and Kuwait among others.
