He will report to Kenneth Mehlman, Member and Global Head of Public Affairs, and is based in Singapore. His appointment is effective immediately.

We are pleased to welcome David and believe his expertise will be a tremendous asset to the firm as we look to build on our best business practices in Asia Pacific and in each market where we operate.”

Katz said, “KKR is world-class firm that works to create value in companies across asset classes globally, including here in Asia Pacific. I am extremely pleased to join KKR’s team in Asia Pacific at such an exciting time in the ongoing economic development of the region, and look forward to promoting KKR’s great work and that of its portfolio companies.”
