Fleishman’s Lynne Anne Davis secures Prospect Gold Standard Award for Professional Excellence

FleishmanHillard’s Asia Pacific President Lynne Anne Davis has been named as the winner of The 2016 Prospect Gold Standard Award for Professional Excellence, coming top in a tough contest among eight agency heads.

In 1990, Davis joined FleishmanHillard as an assistant account executive. Today, she leads the Asia Pacific operations of three brands and 18 owned offices across 10 countries. Lynne Anne has presided over steep and steady growth through a roller coaster ride of business challenges, from the Asian economic crisis to the Dot Com boom and bust, SARS, and the Global Financial Crisis.

Over the last 15 years, the firm’s Asia-Pacific network has been built entirely through organic growth, not only doubling the number of offices but exponentially expanding revenues and reputation.

All of the offices, with the exception of one, are led by local native leaders. It was Davis’s long-term strategy for sustainable leadership that differentiates Fleishman in the industry and is a powerful contributor to its prosperity in Asia.  Currently, the average retention of the top 25 leaders in the region is 10 years (which is half the time the agency has operated in Asia), and half of these are women, including many working mothers.

2016 is on track to be another record-setting year for Fleishman in Asia Pacific with major gains in crisis and issues management work, healthcare remits and a growing roster of globally ambitious Chinese clients.

FleishmanHillard’s celebrated success in Asia, including multiple Network of the Year honors, earned Lynne Anne a debut on PRWeek’s ‘Power List’ in 2015, and inclusion in its 2015 & 2016 ‘Global Power Book’.

In 2015, as President of the PR Lions jury in Cannes, she was an outspoken advocate for the growing power and influence of the PR profession in the new world order of creative communications.

She is an active thought leader on industry trends and issues, and a champion of Shared Value, which featured in her talk, “Our Power to Change The World” delivered on the main stage of the 2013 SPIKES Asia International Festival of Creativity, when she also served as president of the SPIKES PR Jury.

In 2015, she was appointed founding Board Member and Co-Chair of the Hong Kong Support Foundation for the Asian University for Women in Bangladesh and also sits on AUW’s Board of Trustees

Davis has also been named ‘Global Women’s Champion’ in NAFE’s Women of Excellence Awards at the Yale Club in NYC, which honors “women of courage and compassion who often have overcome obstacles to achieve success and who give back by helping other women – locally, nationally, globally.” She is an incredible champion for women in leadership and has been a great contributor to Break the ceiling touch the sky – the success and leadership summit for women ™.
