Edelman has appointed Chadd McLisky as regional corporate practice chairman, Asia Pacific.
McLisky rejoins Edelman following 20 years as chairman of IndoPacific Edelman, the leading public relations firm in Indonesia.
McLisky will be responsible for leading the firm’s corporate practice across Edelman’s 11 Asia-Pacific markets.
He will report directly to David Brain, president and CEO, Edelman Asia Pacific, and Ben Boyd, global head of Edelman’s Corporate practice.
Brain said: “We are delighted to welcome Chadd back to the firm. He is one of the region’s best known and most experienced practitioners, and he will now be available to give great advice to clients and colleagues beyond his Indonesia base. This appointment follows Chadd’s incredible success in building IndoPacific Edelman into a business that is highly recognized not only in Indonesia but the entire region. With this new remit Chadd will further enhance our corporate communications offering in Asia Pacific.”
Boyd said, “Chadd is one of the best corporate and crisis counselors across Edelman’s 66-office global network. The incredible crisis communications work he did in Indonesia in the wake of the 2004 tsunami has been used as an industry-leading case study by experts around the world.”
Prior to the appointment and starting IndoPacific Edelman, McLisky worked for nearly 10 years at Burson-Marsteller, where he was vice president for Australia and New Zealand.
